Alkin was one of my tutors when I attended Film School 10 years ago, so influential was his tuition I owe a lot of my screenwriting confidence to his guidance. We have always stayed in touch and so recently I signed up to one of his latest courses. It was so instructive and inspiring it gave a whole new lease of life to my writing again.

I'm not a novice but we all need help sometimes to see through our stories with clarity - doing the course with Alkin equipped me with the skills to be able to spot and diagnose potential problems from the plot, characters down to simple description and action.

The feed back from short practical assignments throughout were invaluable and personalised the knowledge being learnt so I could really push my creative and technical writing. First time I did dread seeing the notes all over the page like I was back at Film School, thankfully the annotations were always instructive, encouraging and put the theories we discussed into practice.
