About Ema
I have been playing the cello since I was 6 years old. After graduating from the Conservatory of Ballet and Music in Ljubljana, I continued my bachelors degree first in Croatia at the Zagreb Music Academy and then in Austria at the Graz University of Art. In 2020, I started my masters degree at the Oslo Academy of Music. I was able to gather further musical impulses at various master classes, competitions and festivals. Throughout, I have also been active as an orchestra musician; had engagements with the Broadcasting Orchestra KORK, Grazer Philharmoniker, Deutsche Kammerakademie Neuss, Euphony Orchestra and other ensembles. One of my main focuses is chamber music. I was able to have many different experiences in a wide range of ensembles and have expanded my repertoire and playing style in many ways. In addition, I also had the chance to develop childrens concerts in the form of chamber music and open several painting exhibition ceremonies.

The lessons are designed individually and according to each studentsneeds. Especially with one-on-one lessons, you can work on each one. - I offer teaching units in different lengths. (30min / 45min / 60min) - The lessons are for all ages (children and adults), from beginners to professionals. -We will learn and use the basics of playing the cello, reading music, reading, sound, healthy and appropriate playing and sitting techniques, and many other things. - If necessary, I am happy to convey basic music theoretical knowledge (music theory, reading tones, teaching rhythm and harmony). - Lessons are available in the following languages: English, German, Slovenian, Croatian / Serbian, and a little Norwegian (I am only a beginner in Norwegian) ...
