About Andrei
I find teaching very fun and it feels great sharing passion for game-dev. Showing someone the ropes around is an interesting subject, and in our lessons we will both likely learn a myriad of things. I still learn new things every time I work on my game.
I want to help you reach a point of independence which many people struggle to get to, just because of how open ended game-dev is.

I believe in practical teaching. Lectures, especially for practical subjects/subjective pieces of media, learning by doing is often the best way of doing it. We will be working on a variety of small games together, and I will get you thinking on your own two feet about how game dev works, and get you into a productive process. Outside of our lessons, you will be able to work on your own game and show me what you have accomplished, and in the lesson you will be learning new skills.
Over the years I have gathered enough knowledge to confidently teach you about good practices and game design.
I have volunteering experience teaching computer science in years from year 7 to year 11, so anyone between those ages is welcome, though I also accept older (I am currently in year 13). Beginners are most welcome to learn!
Recommendations

Andrei volunteered his time to provide individual help on both programming and gaming courses at Key Stage 3. He was a valuable asset in the classroom as he was able to explain the key parts such as objects and events to pupils with a wide range of experiences. I have no hesitation in suggesting that he would be a suitable tutor. MS.
