About Alexander

I’m a data scientist and economics researcher. I graduated from Indiana University’s Kelley School of Business with majors in Economic Consulting, Public Policy Analysis, and Business Analytics, and I currently work as a paid research assistant in economics while building machine learning systems in healthcare (patient data pipelines, forecasting models, and AI tools used in real research). Day to day, I use the exact subjects I tutor: statistics, econometrics, calculus, Python, SQL, and Excel. That means I can show you how these tools get used professionally. I’ve spent two years explaining technical concepts to non-technical audiences and tutoring is the same skill: meeting people where they are and building up from there.

About the lesson

I tutor statistics, econometrics, calculus, Excel, Python, and SQL. I work as a healthcare data scientist and paid research assistant in economics, so I teach these subjects the way they’re actually used. My students learn to solve problems step by step, check their own work, and build real confidence with the material. I explain concepts in plain language, adapt to how each student learns, and I’m patient with the “I’ve always been bad at math” crowd. That’s usually a teaching problem. Whether you’re prepping for AP Stats, surviving a college econometrics course, or learning Python for a career change, I’ll meet you where you are.
