About Ribhu

The Journey

Ribhu Sanyal (born 1983) is an Indian Classical Vocalist from Bengaluru. His interest in music grew from childhood by frequently hearing to Late Ustad Zia Fariduddin Dagar. Music was always his passion and home discipline. He started formal training in Dhrupad from his father and dhrupad exponent Pandit Ritwik Sanyal from the early age of 8 years. Along with his education, he continued his training and gradually became a natural Indian classical singer.

Education

Along with his schooling, he finished his diploma in Vocal Music from Banaras Hindu University (BHU) and Prabhakar from Prayag Sangeet Samitee, Prayagraj.

Ribhu is BTech (Computer Science), MBA, and currently perusing his MTech.

He continued his dhrupad learning in guru-shishya parampara from Pandit Ritwik Sanyal and also he is a ganda-bandh shishya of him.

Style

Ribhu is continuously evolving with his unique vocal style of Dhrupad Alaap, Jor, and Jhala in Been Anga (बीन अंग).

Vocal Music Coach

Over the past few years, Ribhu developed a unique learning framework for the students of Indian Classical Music who are novices with music can enter the world of music and can carry forward Indian Classical Music naturally. Ribhu has taught over 15 disciples who can independently perform at present.

About the lesson

Personalized 1-1 live contact classes are designed and customized on demand. These classes help students to focus on their strengths and shortcoming so that they can develop skills during the entire duration of the course.

Group discounts are available for Indian Classical Music courses. Each group size will not be more than 3 students, so that maximum attention will be given to the students during the music class both online and offline models.

For online classes, it's recommended to have >100Mbps internet connection, and students should have a Laptop/PC docking station to attend the online class. The room where the student attends the online class should have pin-drop silence to get maximum benefit from the course.
