First of all prateek is a very good teacher . You won't have typical guru-shishya relationship with him as a student ,it is more like a friendship.if i have some money issue he understands the situation. The way he introduced me to classical music is very great . nowadays it is very hard to find a good teacher for anything you want to learn .prateek is one of them .

Prateek is passionate about music and about helping you learn. Because he has had to overcome vocal challenges himself, he knows the struggle of beginners with vocal issues like myself. Although everyone’s challenge is different, he knows about the patience, dedication and belief in oneself and the process required to reach the other side. Therefore, he is able to inspire, encourage and support his students in their process.

And very importantly, he encourages you to be curious and take charge of your learning process, because ultimately, it is your own, no matter which teacher you learn from.

I have found Prateek to be very patient and willing to transfer every bit of knowledge that he has. He is theoritically sound in Hindustani classical and has good sense of sur and taal.

I took class personally with him and I can say as a beginner if you want to understand the right notes (Sur) on Tanpura, He is great and also He is really comfortable & patient for the beginners which is very necessary.

Prateek had been a good mentor to me. Being a fresher I didn't know much about singing, he introduced me to the very basics and then moved ahead. He patiently allowed me to take my time to improve and practice. Definitely a good teacher ! :)
