About Womi
I am a passionate piano tutor with over 13+ years of experience teaching students from school, college, and working professional backgrounds. I believe that learning piano is a journey of skill, creativity, and self-expression. My teaching approach focuses on personalised instruction, clear communication, and patience.
I take time to understand each student’s strengths, weaknesses, and goals to create a structured learning plan that ensures steady progress. I emphasise fundamentals like finger technique, rhythm, sight-reading, and hand coordination, and gradually introduce advanced techniques to help students master the instrument.
Alongside piano, I teach music theory, ear training, and rhythm exercises to develop comprehensive musical skills. My lessons are interactive, creative, and engaging, often including song-based practice and improvisation. I aim to help students gain confidence, improve consistency, and maintain disciplined practice habits.
My goal is to create a supportive and motivating environment where students feel inspired to learn, grow, and achieve their musical dreams.

My teaching methodology emphasises confidence-building, creative, and adaptive learning. I believe piano education should inspire students to express themselves musically, develop technical skills, and enjoy the learning process. Through effective communication, I learn about each student’s goals, challenges, and learning preferences, which allows me to design lessons that are motivating, personalised, and highly effective.
Creativity is a key part of my approach. Students are encouraged to improvise, compose, and explore different musical styles, helping them develop a personal voice and artistic confidence. Flexibility ensures lessons are adapted to the student’s pace, skill level, and preferred learning style, fostering a productive and engaging environment.
Alongside piano, I teach music theory, sight-reading, rhythm exercises, and ear training. This holistic methodology strengthens technical mastery, expressive skills, and musical understanding. My goal is to help students become confident, creative, and lifelong musicians.
