About Geared

Hi, I'm Himanshu, an AI and systems engineer with a background in robotics research. My daily work involves building AI systems, managing GPU computing clusters and working with real hardware, so I teach from hands-on engineering experience, not just textbooks.

I started teaching because I saw that many schools introduce Scratch and robotics, but kids rarely get to build something real or understand how it works. My teaching style is "depth over speed": I explain the why, use everyday examples kids relate to, and let them build projects they're proud to show friends and family.

I design each student's path around their interests, whether that's games, art, robots or AI. I build and test every project myself before class, so sessions stay smooth and focused.

I also run my own STEM and maker lab in Delhi, with a Creality Ender-3 3D printer, a Dremel rotary tool, a soldering station and a digital multimeter. During classes I show live demos on camera, like soldering a circuit, measuring voltage, or 3D printing a part a student designed. Kids see how engineers actually turn ideas into real objects.

About the lesson

In these live 1:1 online robotics classes, your child doesn't just watch videos. They build real, working projects and understand why they work.

We start with the basics: circuits, LEDs, buttons and simple Arduino code, using Tinkercad first so no hardware is needed on day one. Step by step, students move on to sensors (light, distance, temperature), motors and servos. The journey ends with their own Bluetooth-controlled robot car that they can drive from a phone.

Classes are run from my own maker lab, equipped with a Creality Ender-3 3D printer, a Dremel rotary tool, a soldering station and a digital multimeter. Kids watch live on camera as parts are soldered, measured, cut and assembled. Students can also design their own robot parts in Tinkercad, and I 3D print them so they see their idea become a real object.

Every class is planned around the child's pace and interests. Curious kids go deeper, and beginners get the time they need. After each class, parents get a private online portal with projects completed (with photos), class recordings, what's planned next, and a place to ask doubts anytime.

Classes are taught personally by a working AI and robotics engineer, not rotating tutors.
