About Diletta

Hi everyone! :) I have a long background of dance study including a degree in Musical Theatre, an experience at Alvin Ailey in New York, a lot of exams (RAD,VAGANOVA), competitions and a lot more. I am a certified IDTA teacher. Currently I am a jazz and heels teacher located in London. If you are looking for a tough and professional teacher who would push you to do always better and better you are on the perfect page! A world of discipline and deep learning is waiting for you!

What age did you start dancing? Tell us about this time or moment in your life.
I started dancing when I was five years old. My cousin was attending these dance classes, and I was curious, so I wanted to try it too. As soon as I entered that school, my destiny was sealed.
What are your favourite sports; those that you practice at a high level, a simple hobby, and a sport that you'd still like to discover?
For me, dance is a constant journey of discovery where one never stops learning. In addition to dance, I also have a passion for table tennis, cycling, and swimming.
What gives you the motivation and passion to pursue dance?
My body and my dance serve as a reflection of my life journey, which is why I continue to pursue it. It is a significant part of who I am and acts as a means to discover and connect with myself.
Do you have a sporting achievement that you're particularly proud of?
I would say that each step has held significant meaning for me.
How have your achievements and challenges made you a better sportsperson?
Achievements serve as a reminder that the effort and hard work invested are truly worthwhile. They provide a sense of fulfilment and encourage me to take on even greater challenges. In fact, overcoming challenges often serves as a catalyst, propelling me forward and motivating me to tackle new and exciting endeavours.
If you had to go for a jog with a famous athlete, who would you choose? And what questions would you ask them?
I would go for a jog with a dancer, and that would be Josephine Baker. I would ask her life prospective and take a trip in the past with her.
How do you help people stay motivated?
I like to remind people of their potential and the positive impact that different disciplines can have on their lives.
What makes you a Superprof in dance?
My experience and my willingness to grow, as well as to help others grow.
