About Tawana

Hello, my name is Tawana and I am a passionate and dedicated ICT tutor based in South Africa. I have a strong foundation in Information and Communications Technology, covering areas such as hardware and software concepts, networking, internet and communication technologies, and solution development.
I am currently completing my training as a student pilot and hold a background in Investment and Financial Economics — both of which have sharpened my analytical thinking and my ability to break down complex technical concepts into clear, understandable lessons.
My lessons are practical, structured and paced according to each student's individual needs. I teach in English and focus primarily on high school students from Grade 10 to 12, covering both the theory and practical components of the ICT curriculum.
I am patient, thorough and genuinely invested in my students' progress. My goal is simple, to make sure you walk away from every session understanding more than when you arrived. I look forward to working with you.

About the lesson

I take a hands-on, practical approach to ICT tutoring, less textbook, more doing. My lessons are designed to make concepts click by working through real examples and problems together, not just memorizing theory.
I teach in English and am based in South Africa, with experience across both theory and practical components of ICT. Whether you're struggling with hardware concepts, software applications, networking basics or exam preparation, I adapt my lessons to where you are and what you need.
My lessons are aimed at high school students, particularly those in Grade 10 to 12 preparing for their ICT exams. Each session is tailored to the individual — I don't do one-size-fits-all teaching.
What makes me different is patience and adaptability. I won't move on until you actually understand, and I'll explain the same concept ten different ways if I have to whether online or in-person.
