My own training at Conservatoire helped me understand the nuance of left hand agility and double stops. My background in voice often influences how I explain intonation and tuning by ear to my violin students. Sight reading and ear training are components I integrate into every session for a complete musical experience. I find that focusing on spiccato and staccato bowing patterns creates the most significant shifts in tone quality. My approach values the patience required to master these complex physical movements.
