About Caitlin
Hi! I’m Caitlin, a qualified teacher with a B.Ed and Honours in Education, and several years of classroom experience. I currently teach Science (Physics, Chemistry and Biology) and work within the IB MYP, giving me experience supporting students with a wide range of abilities and learning needs.
I’m passionate about making learning feel less overwhelming and helping students develop genuine understanding and confidence. My lessons are friendly, supportive and personalised, while still maintaining high expectations.
Whether you need help understanding a difficult Science topic, preparing for an exam, improving your English, or simply want to feel more confident in your abilities, I’m here to help.

As a B.Ed and Honours-qualified teacher with extensive classroom experience, I offer personalised, engaging lessons tailored to each student's needs. I focus on genuine understanding rather than memorisation, using clear explanations, questioning, examples and practical activities to build both knowledge and confidence.
As an experienced MYP Science teacher, I have a strong understanding of different learning needs and assessment requirements. Lessons can focus on specific topics, homework support, revision, exam preparation or filling gaps in understanding.
Students can expect a supportive but structured lesson, with clear goals, guided practice and opportunities to apply their knowledge independently.
I teach in English and offer tutoring for primary and secondary students, particularly Science and IB MYP Science, as well as English/TEFL support. My aim is simple: to help students understand, improve and feel confident in their abilities.
