About Seamus
My name is Seamus (Shay - mus), i have recently moved to Australia from Ireland. I am a big heavy rock and metal fan, it would be my main choice of genre to play usually. I studied commercial and modern music during college, learned about various genres and cultural theories as well as popular culture in relation to music genres. I studied the guitar for these 4 years in college but have been playing it for 13 years as of 2024. Super easy going person and i have a lot of patience, i know what its like and how tough it can be to learn a new instrument so i hope to teach you the things i wish i knew when i first started out !

At first we'll get to know the basic chords that can be used to play a variety of popular songs, enough to get comfortable with the feeling of playing your instrument. Down the line we would then learn the basic theory of how and why these chords sound the way they do, and then, eventually dive into the world of theory to help us explain and learn about the music we play.
