About Rachel
I have been teaching or tutoring organic chemistry for 15 years. I have developed a competitive "roadmap," that my students can use to attain success My current students rank in the 80th percentile on the national American Chemical Society exam in organic chemistry.

My approach to teaching begins by ensuring my students have a firm grasp of foundational knowledge in each learning objective. I lead them through examples, show casing how a professional organic chemist solves each problem step by step. Each worked example also contains the steps I personally use to solve the problems. We then move on to harder examples and repeat the process. I have documents that that service as study guides to for each chapter of the book/material being used thus the expectations are clear. Each study guide contains example of problems they can use to practice to master the material.
