I have more than fifteen years of experience as a tutor.
These lessons are for people aged 15 or older who are at an intermediate level (B1) of proficiency or beyond in Spanish and that feel quite comfortable speaking in that language. My teaching methodology focuses on holding natural conversations about a topic you might be interested in. If you wish, I could make use of English to make some explanations, to help you confirm meaning, or to help you ask questions since I have a C1 level of proficiency (advanced) in English. I use written texts, audio recordings, videos, or pictures as prompts so that you can activate your previous knowledge of the language on that topic. After that, useful related vocabulary and phrases are provided. Then, a set of short exercises are given in which you have to complete sentences verbally or answer questions about the topic. Finally, you will be encouraged to discuss further and broaden the topic by talking about your personal experiences, preferences, opinions, etc. So, lessons are 50-60 minutes long.
