About Alaina
I have had experience in tutoring since 2017, where I tutored in a wide array of subjects from the 11+ course to GCSE science, maths and English. I currently specialise in History and Psychology up to A Level as well as being able to arrange a select variety of other subjects to be taught up to GCSE level.

My approach is a fine balance between focus and compassion. I push students to do their best by identifying their strengths and weaknesses in a non-judgemental manner, and use this information to determine how to best approach subject content during lessons. I am highly versatile and therefore I am able to cater to how the student best learns which may not be tended to in the classroom - each student will receive a form via email before our first session where they outline how they best learn, what motivates them and what they perceive to be most difficult for them within the subject.
