I am passionate about history and am excited to spread my love of history in the classroom. My goal is to bring history to life in the classroom by fostering critical thinking. Some of my favorite subjects in history include the Holocaust, the Civil War, the Antebellum South, and South Carolina History.

Hello! My name is Eireann, and I am a History Education major with a passion for helping students develop a deeper understanding of history. I believe history is more than memorizing dates and events—it's about understanding the people, ideas, and decisions that have shaped our world.
My teaching approach is student-centered and adaptable to each learner's needs. I break down complex historical topics into clear, engaging lessons using discussions, timelines, maps, primary sources, and real-world connections. I encourage students to ask questions, think critically, and build confidence in their understanding of historical concepts.
A typical lesson begins by reviewing previous material, identifying areas that need improvement, and setting clear goals for the session. We then work through new content together using interactive explanations and practice activities. I also help students prepare for quizzes, exams, essays, and document-based questions by strengthening their analytical and writing skills.
What sets me apart is my training as a future educator and my commitment to creating a supportive, encouraging learning environment where every student feels comfortable asking questions and learning at their own pace.
My lessons are designed for middle school, high school, and introductory college students studying U.S. History, World History, Government, Civics, or related social studies courses. Whether you need help improving grades, preparing for exams, or simply gaining a better understanding of history, I'm here to help you succeed.
