About Leah

I studied my B.Ed at the University of Johannesburg majoring in History and Life Orientation/Psychology. I studied to teach FET so I am qualified to teach all grades, although I truly enjoy engaging with older learners about our topics. In my years of in-person teaching, I have taught learners with physical disabilities, teaching at a school for deaf learners and later on managed a skill development NGO that ran courses for at-risk youth and helped place them in jobs. I have taught quite a few different curriculums.

About the lesson

I have a passion for making content stick with learners by using examples or situations they can put themselves in. Every student presents a new opportunity to approach topics in a different maybe even more modern way. I believe this makes for a easy recall during study for tests and exams.
