About Farha
My name is Farha Fazliyana Mohd Ali, and I am a dedicated and responsible educator with a strong passion for helping students achieve academic success, particularly in History and Geography at SPM level. I believe that every student has the potential to excel when guided with the right approach, patience, and structured learning methods.
With experience in tutoring and academic support, I focus on building a solid understanding of key concepts rather than rote memorization. My teaching approach includes clear explanations, structured notes, guided practice, and consistent exposure to past-year questions. I also emphasize exam techniques, answer structuring, and critical thinking skills to help students improve their performance with confidence.
I am known for being patient, approachable, and committed to my students’ progress. I take time to understand each learner’s strengths and weaknesses so that lessons can be adapted to their individual needs and learning pace. My goal is not only to improve grades but also to build confidence and independence in learning.
I maintain a professional and organized teaching environment where students feel supported and motivated. I am committed to continuous improvement and ensuring that every lesson is meaningful, focused, and effective.

I adopt a student-centered teaching approach by focusing on understanding each student’s learning style, strengths, and areas that need improvement. My teaching methodology combines explanation sessions, guided discussions, notes preparation, exercises, past-year questions, and interactive learning techniques to help students understand concepts more effectively rather than relying solely on memorization.
For History and Geography subjects, I emphasize concept understanding, timeline analysis, map interpretation, structured answering techniques, and exam strategies to help students improve their performance, especially for SPM examinations. I also provide revision support and continuous progress monitoring according to the student’s learning pace.
A typical lesson usually lasts between 1.5 to 2 hours, depending on the student’s needs and learning objectives. Lessons are planned to include learning sessions, practice activities, and revision components.
I have experience as a tutor teaching History and Geography subjects, along with experience providing academic support and assignment assistance. This experience has helped me develop patience, communication skills, and effective teaching strategies when working with students.
