About Swarnayan

I am Swarnayan, a Hindustani Classical Vocalist with over 25 years of dedicated training in the Bishnupur Gharana, under the guidance of Pt. Pranay Pathak since the age of four.

My musical perspective is further enriched through exposure to the Maihar Gharana tradition, connected to the lineage of Pt. Hariprasad Chaurasia. This dual grounding has shaped my understanding of gayaki ang, raga architecture, tonal discipline, and aesthetic clarity.

Over the years, I have performed at major cultural platforms and academic stages, and have guided students with a calm, structured, and lineage-respecting approach.

My teaching combines traditional parampara with analytical clarity — helping students build not just repertoire, but deep musical understanding and disciplined riyaaz habits.

About the lesson

Each lesson is designed as a structured progression rather than isolated song learning. The goal is to build a strong classical foundation rooted in gharana-based discipline and long-term vocal development.

My lesson fee is AED 350 per hour for individual one-to-one online classes.

The hourly rate includes fully private instruction, a personalized learning plan with clear short- and long-term goals, structured methodology, and guided practice strategies. Teaching materials, practice notes, and Riyaz frameworks are included where applicable.

Lessons are conducted online via Zoom, Microsoft Teams, or Google Meet at a mutually convenient time. Support between lessons may be provided when required.

Fees are region-based and reflect professional international tutoring standards.
