About Kathryn
I have always wanted to teach and have been passionate about learning from a young age. I have worked in education from the age of twenty and thoroughly enjoyed it. In particular, I love building a positive relationship with my students and figuring out the best methods to help individuals learn. I have several (now grown up) students who still check in with me! Although I have taught both English and Psychology for many years, I am also a qualified Special Needs and Disabilities Coordinator and have gained extensive knowledge of a wide range of needs.

I am a friendly and approachable tutor with extensive experience and an excellent track record for successful learning. I love teaching and I am very passionate about create engaging and challenging learning experiences that are tailored to the needs of individual students. I have experience teaching a range of ages from 8 to 18 years old. My lessons are typically 1 hour long, however I can provide shorter lessons for younger students. I have been tutoring for over 10 years now and teaching in secondary schools for 15 years. I hold qualified teacher status, BA English Literature, BSc Psychology, Masters in Education and Leadership and I am fully DBS checked.
