About Harry

I have very strong written and verbal communication skills and an abundance of patience which is crucial when explaining theories that can be difficult to understand first time round. I have a wealth of knowledge and on the job experience and my qualifications can be found below.

About the lesson

Hello All,

My name is Harry Mckeady and I am an IT Engineer based in central London. I have many years of experience working my way up in the IT sector and have taught, and have been taught, at many different levels from people brand new to using computers through to IT specialists.

I am offering my experience and knowledge; and can take you step by step through the very beginner level of computing hardware and software, the basics of the internet and your home network, cyber security, mobile technology and cloud concepts and can help you to get the most out of the things you use day to day. I have compiled guides to help what I teach stick in, and will always tailor these guides to meet your needs.

I am able to demonstrate first hand entry level and complex scenarios in the enterprise environment, the software and hardware used by IT professionals and how to get a job within the industry by covering the theory and practical sides.
I also have strong connections within the industry.

I offer computer hardware and software repairs and maintenance at £40ph. And any complex IT configurations at a price to be agreed.

Perfect! I had a lesson with Harry where he helped me to solve a case study for a job interview.
He fully satisfied my requests!
The lesson was really useful, he helped me in how to approach step by step the case study using his problem solving, interpersonal and IT knowledge. In general he gave me some really important advice and more information to solve the problem in an easier way using some technical tools.
His way of tutoring is really professional, patient and friendly at the same time.
I would strongly reccomand Harry.

Perfect! I needed someone to: 1. set up Microsoft Outlook on my machine for the first time, and 2. show me the ins and outs of this program so as to enable me to use it at high level for my work in project management field.
On both of these counts Harry delivered admirably - in no time was everything set up, but better still he really focused only on those parts which would be relevant to me and so I was not overwhelmed and left feeling very confident.
As I explore Windows and world of computing on my own (invariably hitting roadblocks on this journey), I will definitely use Harry's help in future for other more technically challenging aspects of networking and Windows administration.
