About Wilna
I am a highly qualified and experienced trainer/facilitator, lecturer, and teacher. I have more than 27 years’ experience in teaching, lecturing, training and facilitating in:
• Primary & Secondary Schools – in South Africa, Botswana and Qatar
• Teacher Training College & Vocational Education College (Senior Lecturer) - Lehurutshe College, South Africa
• Technical Training College (Head of Section) – Gaborone Technical College, Botswana
• FET (Further Education and Training) College - Lehurutshe College, SA
• Corporate Training Company (Speardhead Training) in Doha, Qatar (Senior Management Associate)
• Executive Assistant/Secretary to CEO and the Director of Awsaj Academy in Qatar Foundation (6 years)
I hold a Bachelors Degree in Psychology and Languages, a Diploma in Higher Education (H.E.D), Honours in Education (B.Ed.), and a professional qualification in Business Management and Entrepreneurial Skills-N6, Master Facilitator/Trainer and a Diploma in Interior Design/Laughter Therapy.
My goal is to use my skills and experience (local and international) as a trainer/lecturer/teacher and facilitator, to develop and educate individuals. I have many years of experience in working with a wide spectrum of learners from different cultural backgrounds which include children, young adults and adults.

My method of training is based on experiential/interactive training, facilitating and teaching; especially for professional development as well as for languages.
As a Senior Management Associate (Corporate Trainer) in Qatar, I developed learning material, trained (Excellent Customer Care, Leadership Skills, Management Skills, Team Building, Coaching and Mentoring, Presentation Skills, Train the Trainer, Planning and Organizing, Time Management, Counseling and Stress Management), facilitated, developed PowerPoint presentations and conducted needs analysis.
I taught at Primary and Secondary Schools: English, ESL, EFL, Afrikaans, History of Art, and Vocational Guidance in South African and International schools.
I was a Senior Lecturer at a Teachers Training College and Vocational Education College (FET) for 13 years in the Work Experience Department (Guidance/ Psychology and Counseling, Work Experience, Business Management and Entrepreneurial Skills, Business English) – Lehurutshe College in South Africa.
I have lectured and trained in Entrepreneurial Skills / Business Management (Senior Lecturer and Head of Section), Communication, and English Business language.
