About Aidan

I have been a Drama and Media Studies teacher for 7 years now. I am extremely passionate about sharing my knowledge and interest in my subjects on to my students. I am a strong communicator and work hard to develop quality resources and plan effective lessons and periods of learning for the students that I teach. My lessons are generally exercise and discussion based and I aim to place my students at the centre of the learning to ensure they get the most from my lessons. I take an individualised approach to teaching students, finding out what my students believe their strengths and weaknesses are in order to set targets and help them grow and develop.

About the lesson

For the past two Academic Years I have been the Head of Media Studies at my school. Teaching from the A-Level Eduqas Media Studies Course. In this subject I teach across all three components. I am an engaging and passionate teacher, who delivers lessons that are fast-paced, and discussion/ exercise based. I have a range of helpful resources and materials across my subject areas to assist the development of my students. I believe feedback is a key way to aid the development of learners.
