I'm a bubbly, compassionate, goal-oriented professional. I love to make learning fun! I combine fifteen years of experience as a successful vocal performance musician with fifteen years of experience as a coach, ten years as a teacher, and four years as a meditation practitioner to provide dynamic, cutsomized, supportive one-on-one voice lessons to pinpoint your areas for growth and mold you into a dynamite vocalist who operates off authenticity, discipline, sincerity, and pure creativity. I LOVE to see faces light up and lives change when a student experiences their pure voice for the first time. I thrive on solving problems and targeting specific needs for my students. I'm a solutions-oriented teacher and I pay great attention to details. I joy in getting to know my students values, goals, experiences, and building a solid foundation for our student-teacher relationship so we can achieve vocal success in their lessons. It melts my heart to see dedication and passion in the singers I teach and to see them leave our lessons feeling empowered to take on their practice regimen for the week. To witness improvement and wonder in my students brings me satisfaction and fulfillment as a teacher. To see them succeed is my highest joy!

I started teaching from my early teens. I shared vocal technique information with my friends, family, and anyone who seemed like they wanted to learn. I then went on to study at high-performance schools like the Louisiana School for Math, Science, and the Arts and Nicholls State University where I solidified my success as a performer of vocal art and a student of vocal pedegogy.

I'm a professional vocalist trained in Bel Canto Opera, Choral Singing, Jazz, Pop Vocals, and Vocal Improvisation, and avid creator specializing in guiding people like you who are hungry for vocal improvement to unleash their truest voice. I'm passionate about discovering your authentic talent . My students are dedicated to the pursuit of their craft, goal-oriented, passionate, and in tune with their creative intuition. About my experience: I've studied Bel Canto Opera with Dr. Valerie Anne Jones Francis and Dr. John St. Marie Of Nicholls State University. I've studied Choral Singing with Dr. John St. Marie, Dr. Kenneth Klaus, and Professor Lisa Benner of Nicholls State University and The Louisiana School of Math, Science, and the Arts respectively. I've studied Jazz Vocals with Dr. Taylor Assad of Nicholls State University Jazz and Pop Vocals with Dr. John St. Marie of Nichols State University. I trained for two years in the Michael Chekov Acting Technique with the ONLY triple-certified master teacher of the Michael Chekov Technique Professor Jeff Thomakos. At Nicholls State University I've starred as lead female role in scenes from the operas "La Boheme," "Helfe! Helfe! Die Globolinks," "Dialogue of the Carmelites," "Cosi fan tutte," "Die Zauberflote," and "Don Giovanni," and as supporting female role in "Die Zauberflote," "Don Giovanni," "La Traviata," " Carmen," "Helfe! Helfe! Die Globolinks," and "The Consul." I've soloed in over 12 concerts for gospel, chamber, and concert choral ensembles at Nicholls State University, performed several guest concerts for St. Johns Episcopal Church of Thibodaux, Louisiana and Trinity Episcopal Church of New Orleans, Louisiana. In Jazz studies I performed two major concerts at Nicholls State University both as a soloist and with my Jazz Quintet "Gracie and the Grooves." I've been teaching, performing, and learning about music and voice since the age of five years old. I've coached vocalists for ten years and taught at South Louisiana's STAGE Performing Arts School for two years as head voice and piano instructor and summer voice camp head instructor, coordinator, and concert organizer. Advanced in public speaking, vocal improvisation, and compositional improvisation, I co-host Nicholls State University's RELATE Open Mic event once a month during the Spring and Fall semesters as well perform original multi-instrumental, vocal, and vocal improvisation works at Heaven and Hell Artist Showcase in Houma, Louisiana.

I have worked with studets from the ages of four years old to fifty-three years old with diverse backgrounds, and from beginner to intermediate singers. With my arsenal of skills and performance experience, I am capable of instructing anyone willing and receptive to learning voice.

Demonstrate passion, goal-oriented direction, communicate desires, goals, and expectations. Be sincere and authentic. Be bold, teachable, and ready to learn. Make certain that you will be a great fit for their studio and that your teacher will be a great fit for you. A compatible student-teacher relationship is crucial for your success!

A recent event I am fond of was a private concert I performed for Thibodaux, Louisiana's Music Club at St. John's Episcopal Church. It was a wonderful program with generous and delightful lovers of music. Performing for this audience was fulfilling and satiating. A performance vocalist's delight!
