About Paola

I started teaching while I was still a student myself. My classmates would often ask me for help and explanations because, as they told me, I had a way of making things easier to understand than they sometimes seemed in class.

I continued teaching throughout my university years, and eventually became a teacher by profession. After all these years, I have never lost my passion for teaching or the joy of helping students discover that something they once found difficult can actually become clear and enjoyable.

What has always kept me motivated is the gratitude and affection I have received from my students and their families.

About the lesson

Every student learns differently, and my lessons are tailored to each student’s level, needs, and goals.

With many years of experience teaching Latin and Italian, I help students understand not only what is difficult, but why it is difficult. We identify the areas that need attention and work on them step by step, building a solid understanding of the language.

Whether you are learning Latin for school, preparing for an exam, working on translation and literary texts, or simply want to deepen your knowledge of the language and the ancient world, we will work together to find the approach that suits you best.

My goal is not simply to help you get the right answer, but to help you understand how to get there yourself — with clarity, confidence, and, whenever possible, a little less fear of Latin!

Paola is an awesome professor. She has a true vocation for teaching, along with all the experience that comes from having taught Latin and Ancient Greek for more than 30 years. And yet, she is still incredibly passionate about her subjects. Her enthusiasm is contagious, and she makes you genuinely look forward to your next Latin lesson with her. I couldn’t recommend Paola enough!
