About Sean
I have extensive experience as a solo, chamber, and orchestral cellist across Canada, the US, and Japan, with almost 20 years of professional orchestral experience. My credentials include a master's degree in music performance from University of Wisconsin-Madison and certification through Conservatory Canada in both cello and music theory.
Between my multiple degrees in music performance and extensive performance experience, I believe I have a lot to offer the aspiring young cellist and the aspiring professional musician and I sincerely hope I can help you reach the level you aspire to. As a teacher and coach, my single priority is always to foster a greater understanding of the music and technique and to help the student develop their own learned interpretation.

I offer cello lessons as well as audition coaching for professional symphony audition preparation for almost any orchestral instrument.
Cello lessons are 30, 45, or 60 minutes, and audition coaching sessions are at least 60 minutes. Lessons are aimed at intermediate to advanced students, and audition coaching is aimed at those aspiring to be professionals or young professionals who want to achieve a higher level.
