About Juliette
I am a Kiwi who loves languages. I studied German, French and Spanish at school before settling on Japanese as the language and culture are so beautiful and very similar to te reo Māori. I am living my dream by using Japanese every day and want to share my passion for, and the importance of, language learning with others. Life is too short to be monolingual.

Communication is key in language learning and I support students by providing learning strategies to become lifelong learners and knowledge seekers. I provide a variety of resources and teaching methods that can be adapted for each learner. Lessons range from 45 - 60 minute periods. I have a Bachelor of Arts majoring in Japanese and Linguistics, a Master of Teaching and Learning, have taught English in Japan for 3 years and am currently a teacher of Japanese and English in New Zealand.
