About Mya
Music has always been a passion of mine growing up. I started playing flute halfway through my 6th grade year and quickly moved onto the other wind instruments in my later years of middle school. My last year of middle school my band scored 1st in the MICCA competitions and was granted the opportunity to play at Boston Symphony Hall. Since then I have gone on to win flute awards on my own. Through working with me I am sure you will get there too!

Lesson plans depend on what the student knows first. If the student already knows how to make their first sound then we move onto notes. If the student already knows the basic notes then we move onto rhythms. It really all depends on prior knowledge!
