About Laurie
I am a 16 year old high school student currently in my 4th veterinary class as well as my first equine class. I am the captain of the Louisa FFA chapter Vet Science Team. I am also a member of the 4H and American Rabbit Breeders Association, I own a registered Rabbitry where I breed meat and show rabbits. I also have written a digital handbook on raising meat rabbits and earned the Elanco Veterinary Medical Applications Certification. I am excited to share my knowledge and experience to help on your journey to becoming a veterinarian!

I will be actively engaging with my students through video calls, emails, and other means of communication as well as games and fun activities. Students will be introduced to the FFA Veterinary science handbook as well as various other animal and agriculture related sources and organizations. My classes include projects, live demonstrations of an entrepreneurship SAE (supervised agricultural experience) and a mix of worksheets and videos.
