About Aya
Outside of dance, I am a teacher for other subjects as well! I teach violin as well as other musical instruments, dance, and other school-related subjects in my free time. Through these experiences, I have not only learned how to effectively teach technique and create growth, but learn patience. My favorite part about teaching is seeing a student's growth and being there with them even if it is difficult! Students should always feel safe to make mistakes!

From a young age, dance has been incorporated into my life, whether taking lessons at studios or teaching them at studios or school clubs. Typically, I begin teaching dance technique including body isolations and leveling, then moving on to a dance they are interested in learning! We break down dances into chunks and work on proper technique to level up their dancing from mediocre to advanced! These lessons can be taken by inexperienced, beginner, as well as intermediate dancers.
