About Aurora
I just graduated high school this year and I will be attending NBCC for program analysis. I've been using Java for over a year now, and am quite familiar with how it works. I like to write programs in my free time, right now I'm working on a music player that looks at a file path to recite given instructions, like playing the file, pausing it, and skipping to the next.
Listening to music is another pastime of mine, I will often listen to music while programming, doing school work, or even just for fun. I've been playing the guitar for the past 7 years, and even though I don't have much time anymore, I still like to pick it up every once in a while.

We'll learn entry-level Java 8+, and have you programming your first Hello World in the first lesson! I provide explanations throughout your programming experience, answer questions about any confusion regarding syntax, order, or functionality.
For intermediate programmers, I offer help in understanding certain concepts, advice with programming, and teaching things that you don't know yet.
On the first day, I will ask if you have any prior programming experience, depending on your answer, we will either go over a few concepts, or we can jump right into the fun stuff!
The course will progress with modules, following a specific order depending on the student. These modules will not have tests afterward, but I will ask you to write a program using the elements you've learned.
