About Stefanie

I'm Stefanie, I'm 19 years old and I'm from Münster. I have just finished my A-levels and would like to study international law afterwards. I grew up bilingually, as my parents come from Portugal and I learned Portuguese and German at the same time from an early age. I have always been fascinated by languages and have been tutoring English for three years. I love to learn new languages, but also to pass on my fascination for them, as languages are incredibly important. Italian was my oral A-level subject, so my knowledge of it is also very good. I also have a Latin certificate, something that many people underestimate. Latin gave me the basis for learning English, French and Italian.

About the lesson

With languages, it is important to know the basics and to use them accordingly. If you want to speak a language correctly, you have to deal intensively with the basic grammatical structures. For three years, I have always taught according to the motto: "Learning by doing". This means that as soon as these structures are in place, the language is spoken. Above all, I emphasise cooperation. Grammatical basics are explained in detail, but vocabulary must also be learned, which is of course provided. Questions are always important, as they usually even drive the lesson forward. To learn a language, one must take time, be interested and want to use it. With these prerequisites, you can go straight to learning, where I will support and help you. My lessons are aimed at anyone who has difficulties with the language or wants to learn it.
