About the lesson

WHAT TO EXPECT:
- As your tutor, I guarantee that over the course of our tutoring sessions, you will develop a
clear and detailed understanding of the key English skills and concepts you are working
on, and how to apply them practically to questions and assignments.
- A focus on simple, step-by-step, clear explanations with an emphasis on the 'why',
facilitating a very effective, clarifying, and enjoyable learning experience.
- Lessons are interactive, dynamic, and tailored to your unique learning style and pace. I will
focus on the specific areas that need improvement whilst building on your strengths.

SIMPLE 6-STEP LESSON STRUCTURE:
1. Initial unguided attempt at problematic questions/material.
2. The 'Why': Assessment of comprehension, thought process, and analytical logic.
3. Identify and address underlying issues, key skills, and concepts.
4. Interactive and guided practice with new questions to solidify understanding.
5. Second unguided attempt at problematic questions/material.
6. Open-ended Q&A to identify and address further issues.

LOGISTICS:
One-to-one lessons. Lessons are taught online or face-to-face in a location agreed upon beforehand (e.g., home, library, park). Please communicate relevant course materials and questions (such as the text you are studying and any practice papers). I will create a plan before our lesson that addresses key concepts and questions.
