About Jonathon
I am a current Deputy Headteacher and experienced Physics specialist with a passion for my subject. I still teach A level physics. I am also an experienced examiner. I have excellent resources and a good understanding of where students often make mistakes. Masters degree in Physics from King’s College London (M.Sci), National Professional Qualification for Headteachers (NPQH) Certificate in English Language Teaching Abroad (CELTA). Enhanced DBS checked.

I have refined lessons over many years which follow Rosenshine’s methodology of teaching which focuses on daily and monthly review, delivering new content in small chunks, using questioning to probe and check understanding. Guided practice with clear modelling which ends in independent practice. Lots of examination questions with a range of recall, multiple choice, short structured questions and long answer questions. Students also have access to my online platform.
