About Clara

I’m not a native English speaker, but I’ve learned it myself! I know the challenges, shortcuts, and tricks to fluency—and I’ll share them to help you speak confidently and naturally.

What I am is a native Spanish speaker with international teaching experience in many countries, such as Spain, Germany, Chile, the Netherlands or Morocco. Having lived in different countries, I feel very comfortable working with students from diverse cultural backgrounds.

I hold a degree in Anthropology, which allows me to bring cultural sensitivity and a deeper understanding of language as a social and cultural tool into my lessons.

Learning is one of my greatest passions, and languages are among my favorite things to explore. I also love traveling, spending time in nature and hiking, reading, watching films, and painting with watercolors. These interests allow us to explore many different conversation topics in class, helping you expand your vocabulary.

I am committed to creating a supportive environment where you feel confident, motivated, and comfortable making mistakes—because that’s how real learning happens.

About the lesson

My teaching style is communicative, dynamic, and student-centred. I believe the best way to learn a language is by using it, so my classes focus on real conversation, practical vocabulary, and clear, simple grammar explanations. I use interactive activities, role-plays, games (especially with children!), and real-life situations to make learning engaging and enjoyable. Every lesson is adapted to your level, goals, and learning style.

Lessons typically last 60 minutes, allowing time for speaking practice, structured learning, and feedback. Shorter or longer sessions can be arranged if needed.

I have taught Spanish, English and German in international environments for several years, working with students of different ages and levels. My experience includes preparing lesson plans, conducting exams, tracking progress, and giving constructive feedback to help students improve with confidence.

My lessons are for children, teenagers, and adults—from complete beginners to advanced learners—whether you want to improve conversation, prepare for exams, support school learning, or simply enjoy improving your English in a fun and meaningful way.
