About Rinee
My more recent career history has been teaching foundation level international students to progress into their chosen university. I have also given writing tutorials for students who are writing their theses and dissertations. I have taught prospective Exeter University students online and prior to that at Brighton International College. Other universities I have worked at include Liverpool and Aberystwyth.
Prior to that, I taught at the British Council in Istanbul and Sudan teaching and teacher training. I specialise in teaching and tutoring in academic writing and speaking, and the sub-skills involved. In addition, I am experienced in teaching general English classes which can involve writing emails, reading skills and having discussions.
I am currently doing an LLM (Master's in Law) so I am currently doing research, organising essays and using references for my own course.

I teach mid-teens and upwards, including university students aiming to improve their written or spoken English language. It can be essay or paragraph writing, grammar structures or participating in seminars or giving presentations. I also teach preparation for IELTS and general communication skills. I aim to make classes relaxed and fun with a focus on the student getting the most out of the classes and addressing their needs. The classes are an hour and this can be on Teams or Zoom. For each class, the students will have clear learning outcomes which I hope they will achieve with clarity and confidence. I have taught on pre-university courses to help with academic skills needed for university study. I have also given guidance on theses and dissertations. I have a Trinity Certificate and a Diploma as well as a Master's in ELT and Applied Linguistics. I have taught Business English, General English, English for psychology and law for first-year university students. I have taught for the British Council in Turkey and Sudan. I have also been an examiner for Trinity.
