I have been taking sax lessons from Sekar from last quite a few weeks and i definitely recommend him. He teaches lessons at a good pace and challenges till we reach/explore our potential. He clarifies all the doubts and has a good command over music theory. He comes across as a friendly but professional person. Sekar understand the mistakes i am making and provides corrective actions. He has excellent knowledge/understanding of the subject. The most beautiful thing about him is that he is very punctual, flexible and identifies the areas for improvement very quickly. Recommend Sekar Sir, as he ensures my son is focusing, keeping the class engaged, and encouraging him to do well. He teaches with passion and focuses on my son's school lessons too, and also helps him prepare for his grade 1 exam here in the UK. He is flexible if we are unable to attend certain days. I just turned into sixty. I thought it would be an uphill task to get through Western music particularly reading and playing rhythmic music. Lo Sekhar sir you are just a marvelous saxophone teacher making it so cool and playful. No doubt I started learning sax from two teachers earlier but things couldn't be materialized because of so many factors. Well, you are well aware of adult psychology and handle young boys like me at sixties. You are sincere in teaching and punctual despite your busy schedule. Well friends who are saxophone maniacs can come into fold for becoming a successful Saxophonist.
