About Pippa
I'm a pianist and teacher, and have been inspiring pupils with my private teaching practise for the past 7 years.
I welcome pupils from beginners to advanced, and delight in sharing my passion for music by helping others progress & enjoy their chosen instrument.
I'm an experienced musician & performer, and have multi-instrumental experience with the ABRSM exam system.
I hold an advanced DBS certificate, Advanced Safeguarding certificate, a UK Coaching Council Level 2 Certificate, and am registered with the Education Workforce Council Wales.

Lessons are tailored to the individual players' needs. I strive to provide an inspiring, joyful and productive space where musicality, learning and creativity can flourish. To do this, I use a wide range of methodologies, to ensure the most appropriate curriculum can be offered to each pupil.
Traditional music reading is taught, along with more contemporary techniques such as reading lead sheets & understanding chords.
I have particular insight into preparing for ABRSM exams, and offer this alongside a wider musical learning experience.
I offer lessons between 30 minutes and 1 hour long, and teach ages 7 to adult. Beginners to advanced.
