Hello, I’m Ms. S, an experienced educator with 16 years of teaching experience and a Bachelor of Education specializing in History and English/ESL.
I work with high school students who want to strengthen their English skills, improve academic writing, and build confidence in their ability to communicate clearly and effectively.
I focus on helping students develop strong critical thinking, and support long-term academic success. Areas I specialize in include:
Academic essay writing and structure, Literary analysis (novels, plays, poetry), Grammar, clarity, and sentence development, Paragraph and argument structure, Creative writing, short stories, and poetry, Editing and proofreading for stronger academic work, Exam preparation and assignment guidance.
Writing is one of my greatest passions, and I enjoy helping students find their voice while learning how to communicate ideas effectively and persuasively. I also provide tutoring in Humanities subjects- History,
Geography, and Sociology.
Students can expect structured guidance, constructive feedback, and a supportive environment that builds confidence and independence.
My goal is not only to help students succeed on their assignments but to develop lifelong writing and thinking skills that will benefit them in high school, university, and beyond.
