About Megan

I am a University student currently studying Social policy, Crime and Criminal Justice at the University of York.

I have been tutoring GCSE and A level students for the past 2 years and have loved seeing the progress and confidence each student has achieved not only in their subject but also in themselves.

I want you to do the best you can and enjoy learning. Of course, getting some superb grades at the end of it all!

About the lesson

Qualifications:
English Literature= A at A level and Grade 8 at GCSE

I am DBS checked and have been tutoring for the past 2 years.

My priority when tutoring is always to ensure a safe and friendly environment. I want you to get the most out of these lessons in terms of knowledge, but also in terms of having fun!

Typically a lesson would last an hour and I am more than happy to tutor in a way that works for you and if you're not sure what that is, we can work it out together! As a standard, I like to use interactive materials and use the spec provided by the exam board in order to craft a lesson tailored specifically to your areas of need. I want to find a way to help you learn that means you enjoy the subject and you are gaining skills.

Megan was super helpful in tutoring me for my Spanish GCSE mocks which helped me go from a grade 4 to a grade 7 at my mocks in the weekly lessons I have had from her since September. She is very kind and patient in tutoring me through any sort of difficulty I have had and would totally recommend her for anyone at all levels of Spanish.
