About Axel
I am a pianist and music educator with over 15 years of musical experience, having studied music since childhood. I trained under the Wisconsin Conservatory of Music and performed with MYSO (Milwaukee Youth Symphony Orchestra), building a strong foundation in classical performance and music theory.
I also bring three years of teaching experience, working with students of various ages and skill levels. Throughout my career, I have performed at concerts, private events, parties, and in bands, allowing me to diversify my musicianship across classical, jazz, pop, and Latino styles.
As an instructor, I focus on helping students understand how music works by connecting scales, chords, and improvisation, empowering them to play confidently, creatively, and with purpose

I teach piano in a way that actually makes sense. Instead of just memorizing songs, I show students how scales, chords, and improvisation all connect.
Scales become chords, chords become music, and from there students learn how to improvise, play by ear, and understand what they’re playing.
My goal is to help students feel confident sitting at the piano, whether they’re reading music, jamming, or creating their own sound.
