About Mel
I have worked as Head of Art & Design in a Sixth Form College in London as well as tutoring at Central Saint Martins and running various Illustration and visual arts workshops alongside my own freelance illustration practice. I have a lot of experience in supporting students in developing their portfolios and applying to Further and Higher education in a range of specialisms from Architecture, Fine Art, Fashion Design, Photography, Graphic Design, Product Design and Illustration among other subjects at some of the UK's most competitive institutions.

Devising short mini projects to demonstrate specific skills, personal statement support, practice interviews, portfolio presentation, creating digital portfolios and supporting students to plan appropriate responses to pre-interview tasks are all activities that I have had a great deal of experience in.
