About Nhu

Born and raised in vibrant Saigon, I moved to Montreal when I was 19 to chase my dreams. Today, I'm a proud bilingual, mastering Vietnamese and English, with a dash of Japanese, Mandarin, and Cantonese. As a marketing graduate from Concordia University, who's now stepping into the captivating world of UX Design, I have a unique knack for making things enjoyable and easy to understand - a skill I found extremely useful when teaching Vietnamese to my non-Viet friends. My teaching journey began out of fun and friendship. Seeing their progress and the joy of communicating in a new language was truly rewarding. So, I decided to share this joy with more people - and here I am!

Perfect! I thoroughly enjoyed my Vietnamese lessons with Nhu. Over the course of several months she taught me basic Vietnamese and did so with patience, encouragement and a great sense of humour. She listened to my concerns and customized the lessons until they were perfect for me. On top of that she was a most reliable and dedicated teacher. I absolutely recommend Nhu as a Vietnamese tutor.
