Hello! I have over 15 years experience playing the trumpet and performing. I have a masters degree in jazz from William Paterson University and teach trumpet and jazz improvisation for all instruments

About Ian
I have taught students of many different ages and skill levels. I have a bachelor’s degree in instrumental performance from the University of the Arts and a Master’s in jazz performance from William Paterson University. I have studied with incredible musicians including John Swana, Matt Gallagher, and Jeremy Pelt. I have performed numerous times in New York City and Northern New Jersey.

Whether you are a beginner on trumpet or an experienced player looking to learn or improve at jazz, I try to make sure you get better from each lesson and stay inspired to practice on your own. I can also teach jazz improvisation to all instruments. I look forward to working with you!
