About Vanessa
This year I achieved my Master's in Nursing education. My favorite part of nursing faculty roles has been advising students and 1:1 support for struggling students. I was an average student throughout my nursing education--but ended up being an ICU nurse. I never thought I would achieve that milestone! While it is true that "C's get degrees" we also must be aware that what we learn now has the ability to keep someone alive. It is a high responsibility and a high calling.

I have been known to make pharmacology fun with stories from my patient experiences. I enjoy making worksheets for learning and drawing while I lecture to keep students engaged. I enjoy making pharmacology applicable to real life and human physiology.
