About Uan
Hello! My name is Uan, but my students call me Sydney. I’m an experienced drawing tutor passionate about helping you unlock your artistic potential. I have been drawing since as long as I can remember; drawing has been both my passion and a form of relaxation to me. I decided to teach art to people not just to pass on a little bit of knowledge but to also cultivate their passion for it as well.

I specialize in drawing people and still life using a variety of mediums including graphite, charcoal, watercolors, gouache, and digital art. My personal style leans toward semi-realism, and that will be our main focus during the lessons, developing an eye for detail while keeping a soft, expressive touch. We’ll begin by building a strong foundation through the core principles of art, such as line, shape, form, shading, and proportion. From there, we’ll move into still life and composition, then gradually progress to figure drawing and landscapes. While semi-realism will guide the structure of our sessions, I strongly believe in adapting to each student’s unique interests. Once you’re comfortable, we can explore other styles you're drawn to, whether it’s more stylized work, cartooning, or abstract approaches. Each class will be tailored to your creative goals, ensuring that your learning experience is both personal and inspiring.
