Reading can be a lot of fun, and can really take you places and on adventures. I will teach you how to stay focused on where you are reading, as well as how to write, and pronounce words that are challenging to us. I am also able to assist with homework help.

I am an educator that believes that students are not defined by how fast they grasp the content or the grades that they receive. To me it's more important to focus on and celebrate the progress a child is making in learning a new skill, as well as being there to celebrate their academic milestones. One of my big teaching philosophies is to focus on the whole child. This means focusing on the child's emotional, and physical well-being and development as much as on the academic development.
My lessons have an integrated music and movement aspect because children should be able to learn through singing and moving. Learning should be fun. My first priority is to help the child feel safe and at ease, and then to show them that learning can be fun. Everyone has a different learning style, and it's my main focus to accommodate all learners and all learning styles.
