About Isaac

Since I was a little kid, I was "that guy" in the class that actually enjoyed math and science. This sent me down the engineering career path through which I had to complete several classes using the SolidWorks software. I got the opportunity to assist in the design of a self-filtering sink and a 10 ft wingspan model airplane. Since then I have used SolidWorks to model all sorts of parts for kayaks. The only downside to engineering is that you don't often get to work one on one directly helping people. So, that brings me here. Throughout my life I have had opportunities to teach my younger siblings, fellow classmates, and I also helped teach robotics to elementary school students. In addition, I have helped coach soccer on several occasions. Through this, I found that I genuinely enjoy teaching others and seeing the growth and improvement in their abilities. Most of all, I love seeing others feel encouraged and confident in their capabilities. It is truly a blessing to be a part of that process.

About the lesson

As mentioned in my Ad, I currently work as an engineer designing parts for advanced kayaks. I have used SolidWorks every day for the past 2 years, on top of using the software all throughout my college education. The goal of my lessons is to not only teach you how to use each function of the software, but to help you understand good practices to keep your models organized and easy to modify. (Fewer features the better.) I am happy to teach you how to make solid parts, surface models, drawings, assemblies, and simulations.
