At Eire we work with a cognitive behavioral approach, which understands that a person's behavior is mediated by three fundamental aspects:
- Thought: It is the representation of the reality of each person and is determined by our beliefs .
- Emotion: they are our reactions to what we think, they influence us and often govern us.
- Behavior: it is the action we carry out based on our thinking and our emotions.
The cognitive-behavioral approach focuses on understanding how the three previous aspects condition a person's behavior regarding himself, other people and the world around him. Thought, emotion and behavior are closely connected and influence each other, therefore, working on one of these aspects modifies the others.
